DVD Stills
I noticed in another thread what great quality some of the DVD stills that some of you are getting. I just wanted to know what program you used to get those stills. Thanks in advance.

Pressing alt+printscreen with a DVD playing should copy to the clipbaord and then you can paste that into paint, photoshop, paintshop pro or whatver graphics app you like and save it however you want.

I use Power DVd also. To answer eiker_jr, you can set the screen capture tool to save the picture as it is displayed on the monitor or it's actual dimensions.
The problem with using alt+printscreen and then pasting is that usually the picture goes blank once the media you are using is turned off. At least in my experiences.

PowerDVD here too and I set it to output the image as displayed on screen, so I don't have to compensate for the anamorphic 'squeeze' in Photoshop afterwards. Oh, I also set the colour profile to 'Original'

Is there any reason you guys are talking about ALT+PrintScrn? Unless I'm mistaken, I don't think you need to press ALT.
Anyway, I, too, use PowerDVD for my captures.

If you use PowerDVD it is not needed.
