I used to buy about one a week, but that habit stopped a year or two back. Now it's one or two a month--if that. Although October and November look to be exceptions.

Usually one every week or two but it all depends on what's coming out. I also have a "wish list" at a used DVD store and I get the odd email telling me one of my requests is available.

Through the first 9 months of this year, I am at 99 dvd's. That averages to 11 per month or around 2.75 per week. A lot less lately though.

Of course it depends on what comes out that week but on average I would guess around 3 or 4. I have had weeks when that has doubled or even tripled but those are rare. Stays pretty steady because even if nothing good comes out a certain week, I usually find some older releases that I had been meaning to pick up for some time.

I've been collecting since 1999 and have 750+ DVDs at the moment so thats about 4 per week on average, though recently my average is way down as I've decided to rent most movies, I still buy about 1/month. The reasons I've cut back are primarily space and shipping, since I'm in Tokyo I eventually need to pay to move this collection to the US and I'm not looking forward to the expense.

I don't really buy DVD's on a set weekly basis. I usually buy them in bunches, 5 or more DVD's at a time. Then, there may be several weeks before I buy again. I do practically all my purchases online. By buying in bunches and looking for low or free shipping, I save money. Though, I have slowed down this year when I hit +900 DVD's.

I usually average one per week. However, due to travel restrictions I haven't bought a single dvd in 7 months

In a couple weeks I will once again be able to purchase dvd's. Combine that with the fact that the holiday dvd rush will be starting and you have one hell of a dvd bender

The list of dvd's I plan to buy makes the bible look like a short poem.

Since 1997 I have bought over 350 DVD's, but lately I have purchased way less than 1 a month (on average). So far this year I purchased Star Trek Nemesis & The Two Towers. But with all the summer blockbusters and other catalog titles coming out (Indy) my purchases will likely go up.

usually about 2 per week, for example in the past 7 days i've got the new DTS version of saving Private Ryan,Halloween,Returner and Citizen Kane, also is it wrong to buy a DVD just because you wanted to get a magazine and you didn't have any money and uonly had a credit card?

Store buy = 0-3 ... Total per week depends on how many Columbia House enrollments arrive.

If I estimated the weeks right, about 4.4 per week since I started purchasing them in January 2001. But really more than that, since until I found this site in May 2002, I had less than 100, and now I'm over 600 (probably 25% of those from Columbia House).
