My first, and to date only, Criterion release is And God Created Woman. Criterion puts out some great DVD's, but they are just too expensive. I would never purchase a Criterion DVD on impulse.

Chasing Amy. Got it as a big Kevin Smith fan, had never heard of Criterion. Since that, love Criterion.

Second one... maybe Hard Boiled (after it was OOP, from ebay), maybe Rushmore (I had loved it in theaters). Maybe Silence.

I can't remember if it was Brazil or Chasing Amy, I do remember that I had problems with both and had to exchange them.

I think it was The Rock. I kept meaning to get Time Bandits, but I thought maybe they or someone else would do a version with a new anamorphic transfer. Of course, I'm still waiting, but I did eventually break down and get the Criterion TB.

The Seventh Seal

Coincidently, it was also the first (and only) Criterion that "went" defective - after about a year. Luckily, Criterion replaced it (Amazon didn't).....
