Yes, its coming out with a Gollum Statue... If you do a search for LOTR: EE you will find a conception Art representation of what it should look like. Personally, i really like it, although I know some people here do not

My most anticipated dvd ever was without a doubt the FOTR:EE. As november gets closer I'm sure that will change to the TTT:EE. Like the first EE I will get the deluxe boxed set with the Gollum statue. Very cool IMO.

HECK yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am really excited about it.

Me and my wife did not see it in the theaters on account of my newborn being born 2 months before and could not get out to see it.

hey EAU, did you hear that lucas is waiting for HD-Dvd to happen before he does a Star Wars box set. I read that last week or so at theforce.net, I would love to have starwars all on dvd, but both versions of the first 3 movies, not just the remade versions. hate what they did with empire.

Good old laser disc is going to have to get me by a bit longer.

I heard once, my brother's boss once told him, that George Lucas one time, he got this chihuahua in Mexico, and took it home, and then it ate one of his kids, because, like, it wasn't a Chihuahua at all, he brought home a Mexican Sewer Rat. It like, totally warped his mind and he went all insane, which is how he ended up with the script to Phanton Menace.

Totally true!

I wouldn't doubt the original trilogy being exlusive to HD-DVD at all. Look at the timing. He's already said they won't be out on DVD until at least 2006 which is when HD-DVD is likely to start taking off. The new copy protection (which will be broken in short order I'm sure) has a lot of hollywood studios on the bandwagon thinking it will be unbreakable. The format really will need something huge as an exclusive to get it going. I wouldn't be surprised if there's some kind of exclusitivity deal in the works.
