Kids? Not sure how young those kids are...but Whale Rider is not a film I'd pick for babysitting. It's a very mature theme. Not sex but deep conflicts. I am not sure kids would get it as well and might not enjoy casually watching.

Maybe I'm wrong...but I wouldn't take Secret of Roan Inish either.
