Final Countdown
Has anyone received the Final Countdown DVD scheduled for release on August 19? I placed a pre-order at Amazon.com. But, I haven't received the DVD yet. Amazon states it won't be shipped for 2 or 3 days.
If you received it how is the quality.

Too bad you don't own a region free player I have 4 R4 of The Final Countdown, 1 for me and 3 for trade with "chapters" in them unlike the Pacific Family Entertaiment. See my sig at the bottom for details of 2.35:1 Dolby Surround Pro-Logic R4 TFC.

Sessa, when i went to the page it said the release date was the 19th. When I checked back yesterday it said that it would be "mailed in 2-3 days." This new August 26th date is new to me. I hope this doesn't turn out to be one of those phantom releases.

When I placed the order for the Final Countdown DVD 2 weeks ago, Amazon stated a release date of August 19. When I checked on the status of my order today, Amazon had changed the release date to August 26. Hopefully, this will be the last time they change the release date.
