Uh oh, I'm gonna have to keep my non-OAR version because it's the only place where I can see nipples. (Like we're not ALL just a few mouse clicks away from hardcore porn.)

Sorry, but just having that awful pan and scan old NL VACATION DVD is a crime against DVD talkers, I would rather be burned at the stake than own a non OAR, pan and scan DVD. No nipples in the world will make me keep that old abomanation of a DVD.

So is there now going to be a mass uprising against open matte transfers? I guess we'll all have to get rid of our FIGHT CLUBS. There is technically "more" information in the FS version.

I believe it's against the rules to link to the Mature Forum.

This is off the topic of Beverly D'Angelo's boobs(as amazing of a woman that she is)huhhu i said boobs. But it does have to do with the disc . On the commentary Chevy chase says that NL Vacation was the only one of the series with a R rating. Then i believe its Mr. Ramis that chimes in with European Vacation was also a R, but wasn't that a PG-13. I could always go to imdb to check but i was here. The reason i even thought that was because my mom actually took me and my sister to see it, and at that time in our lives I don't think she would ever take us to an R film(best mom in the world imho but she was strict with stuff like that when we were kids).

So, OAR is the way to go, unless it hides nudity? Is that the latest chapter in the wide v. full screen debate?

Whoever interrupted Chase in saying EUROPEAN was R was wrong. It was indeed PG-13 (and had more nudity than VACATION).
In many films, the matting does hide nudity. I watched VACATION yesterday and noticed that scene and was wondering if anyone would pick up on it here. Guess they did.
The transfer does look great though.
