Yes, which explains why she was wearing panties in the SHOWER. As a teen, I wondered how such an error got into the movie (I just figured she chickened out of the "full monty" and the director thought nobody'd notice), but we weren't meant to see her that far down.

I know. I watched my copy last night. I figured it would be in there, but recent showings on Comedy Central omited the line. Ever since our war on terror, the line has been cut from television broadcasts.

I also made that post out of jest, seeing as there is usually a thread about some movie/show thats been "censored".

The original Vacation has the revealing nudity because it was supposed to be matted. When you don't add the mattes (like the re-release correctly does), you get extra picture that isn't supposed to be seen.

Watch the DVD of Pee-Wee's Big Adventure and listen to the commentary. Tim Burton mentions that the unmatted version ruins a few gags that were meant to be hidden by mattes. (Mainly the chain-pulling shot and the road signs shot)
