Thank you very kindly, Paul, for your professional response and efforts to rectify the situation, and another shout-out goes to Geoff for following up on the situation. Great work all around, guys, and I appreciate it--can't wait to see what the disc offers!

ANGLE ON FILMMAKER, AS HE LOOKS INSIDE MAILBOX

CUT TO INSERT SHOT OF EMPTY INTERIOR OF MAILBOX

REVERSE ANGLE ON FILMMAKER, AS HE TURNS TO THE CAMERA AND ADDRESSES THE AUDIENCE

FILMMAKER (irritated): Grrr...

Nothin' here.
Now that I've posted, if Murphy's Law is working, it'll come tomorrow.

I'm officially pissed! I ordered mine on 08/04/03 and STILL no package!!!

How do I get my money back? I know it's not much money, it's just the principal to me!

Paul Russell, should be posting an update in this thread! It's been 10 days since he last posted and he said:

"We are now taking over fulfillment ourselves and will be mailing out each and every order over the next two days."

Well, that would mean that shipping for all orders should have been completed on the 20th & 21st! Were these shipped as promised & by what means?

Looks like D-Ball is the only one to receive it so far.

We are all due an update as to what is going on!

I got this DVD directly from Paul when it first came out, great stuff! You guys will love it! Takes you right inside.

You guys got a great deal! I paid full price, but it was a pleasure to help support DVD Angle.

As it stands, I got a "great deal" for a DVD which I have not received. I'm with Sonicflood -- I am getting annoyed and feel we deserve some sort of update as to when we can expect to receive our DVDs.

It's not the money (which wasn' t that much), it's the principle of the thing.

Ordered 8/4, have not received.

To be perfectly truthful, I doubt I would have even remembered ordering this DVD if it weren't for this thread. But now that I realize it's been nearly a month, you can add me to the totally pissed off and wanting to stab someone group. Ok, not really, but I am a little irked that I haven't gotten it yet. Hopefully it's on its way.

Still, undiscovered here. I think I will pass on these DvdTalk special promotions in the future.

I wouldn't go that far. I don't blame DVDTalk for the problems and I'm Geoff will think twice before dealing with them again.

I really wanted this CD but I was willing to wait a bit. It's long past a little bit and I too am ticked.

I'd try to get my money back but imagine the hassle that would be. I'm going to give it a bit more time before I freak and try a plan B.

Well, I finally am tired of waiting and have filed a complaint through PayPal! I e-mailed Paul Russel several days ago and did not receive a response! I guess he's too busy rolling around in our Money to respond to this thread with an update!

Thanks to Geoff for trying to help us resolve this!!!

Best of luck and hopefully everyone will either:

A: get their DVD
B: get their money back

I suggest that DVD Angle change their web address to:

www.givemeyourmoneyfornothing.com

I too have been waiting for this disc since the first of august. I emailed Paul and he said that he was checking on it, and that the discs are mailed from Alabama. Me being in SC, i don't think it would take but about a day or two to get here. Unfortuanatly, that was the last i heard from him. I just emailed him and pleaded with him to give us an update. This will ruin any chance he has at releasing a 2nd volume, i would think.

Hey everyone,

Sorry for the lack of information. I haven't been deliberately ignoring anyone -- I've been trying to find information on what's going on. All of the orders were fulfilled, albeit later than we had hoped, on August 20, 21, and 22. This means everyone should have their copies of DVD Discoveries by now. Clearly, some people have not. After talking with USPS on Friday, the only explanation I can come up with is that some discs were "lost" in transit.

If you have not received your disc, please email me directly at [email protected] immediately and I will send you a replacement copy! My sincere apologies for this screw-up. This is not how I, or DVD Angle, like to do business.

I would also like to apologize to Geoff and DVD Talk. This is reflecting badly upon them and it is NOT their fault in any way.

I will do whatever it takes to get this matter resolved without delay.

Regards,

Paul Russell
President, DVD Angle

I e-mailed Paul Russell as soon as I saw the post above, as I STILL have not received my DVD (ordered on 8/4). No response.

Anyone else hear from him?

I ordered mine on 8/4, and got it today. The postage on the envelope says that it was mailed from Montgomery, AL, on Sept. 2 (I only live about 80 miles from Montgomery, hence the quick delivery). It was mailed out via first class mail.

I have watched a couple of the features, and so far it's good.

I sent Paul an e-mail the day he posted.

I haven't heard anything back or seen a DVD yet. Angel Season 2 comes in tomorrow and after I'm done with it.....I'll continue to look into this matter.

So much for "All of the orders were fulfilled, albeit later than we had hoped, on August 20, 21, and 22." That was a lie (on Pauls part) if yours does in fact have a Sept 2nd post mark!

I too live in Alabama and find it hard to believe that I've yet to receive it already if it was sent! I receive orders from Blackstar.uk within a week, yet I can't get a package that was mailed within my own state?

Also, Paul Russell/DVD Angle have yet to respond to PayPal's inquiry on my behalf!

What IS the truth?

Um...still waiting here, I ordered on 8-4 as well and e-mailed a day after he posted.

This is gay.
