Day of the Dead EARLY at BB

I just got back from my local Best Buy with the new Day of the Dead SE. I've never seen a bigger release a whole week early there before, anyone else? The packaging looks great!

Unfortunately I paid $19.99+tax, I figured if I waited for the ad to come out this Sunday it would be on sale but I couldn't wait and just had to have it. If it's on sale though I'll just take my receipt back to get the difference. Can't wait for Dawn now! Is that suppose to be early next year?

The Anchor Bay web site lists Dawn of the Dead with a February 2004 release date.

It's $19.99 on the BB website, expect the same in store regardless of when it streets. That's the price BB will be selling it at.

I'll check my BB this evening but I'm not going to hold my breath...

No thanks. I'll wait until next Tuesday and get it at Target for $15.99. I'm still watching the Lizzie McGuire movie.

The Dawn date actually looks pretty solid... because the remake (that Anchor Bay is involved in...and the reason why the disc of the original has been perpetually delayed) is scheduled for a March 2004 release.

I also found a copy of it at Lexington, Kentucky. There is plenty of 'em and only for $20 bucks.

Woohoo!

...oh, almost forgot.

I'll be upgrading the original AB release, but ONLY AFTER they fix the audio problem.

They didn't have it at the Best Buy in Annapolis, MD. I checked everywhere. Oh well, I had to get some cd-r's there anyway.

I work for Best Buy and saw that our box of Day of the Dead was shipped to us early (Which is why all of you got it already). Since I knew that date of this release was next week, I didn't put them out this morning and am holding it till it comes out on the 19th.

I could of played dumb but gotten in trouble, the stores that had it will likely get fined.

must not be much of a fine since some of the same BB's keep doing it. you did the right thing DVD Giant. I'm just glad a few bad eggs slip through the cracks.
