Candyman re-release ever?

Anyone ever hear anything about Candyman being revisited for a special edition, or at least something more than the bare bones disc now? I want to buy the movie, but I might hold off if they are planning a new release anytime in the next year.

Hmm...just try saying his name three times in the mirror?

I wonder if they'd ever do a Candyman boxset. I'd snatch it up, hook, line, and sinker!

I have been putting off getting this disc until a new special edition. I would love a isolated music score and a commentary track by the director.

Not a chance... Candyman 1 is put out by Columbia Tristar

Candyman 2 is an MGM release.

Candyman 3 is an Artisan disc... so with three studios each making one flick, there is not a chance for a box set...it just wouldn't happen.

I doubt they'd do an SE of the original, but I LOVE that movie, so I'd upgrade in an instant.

Hmm...good info. I didn't know that the franchise was spread around. And I agree, I'd definitely double-dip on this title for a half-way decent SE.
