Since prior to this post you provided no sources, no one knew what you were talking about. That was the problem. Now you have provided a source. You should have done so to begin with.
Do you even have any idea who you're responding to? I'm not the one who brought up the information in this thread.

And no one knew what gutwrencher was talking about? I sure did. Please don't project your own lack of knowledge onto everyone else.

Finally, I never said that you could not discuss the matter. I said that it was unworthy of discussion. This has nothing to do with attempting to moderate anything.

It was a statement of fact. Unsubstantiated rumors are a waste of time
It's a fact that rumors are a waste of time? What experiment in what laboratory did you do to discover that?

You may not feel that rumors are worth your time, but others do. If something posted here isn't worth your time, move on. Rumors will be discussed here, whether you like it or not. Please don't waste my time with your proclamations or what is and isn't worthy of discussion. It doesn't contribute anything to the conversation.

Obviously the people in that thread share my desire to have verifiable sources. Was Vincent attempting to be a moderator? No, he was requesting sourcing as was I.
Vincent asked for clarification. You announced from on high that "until this is sourced in a verifiable manner, this is an unsubstantiated rumor and unworthy of further discussion." See the difference? Asking for a source is fine. Declaring that a topic is "unworthy of further discussion" is wannabe moderator crap.

djtoell, let me make this very clear to you. I posted a one word response to gutwrencher's post. It read as follows:

Source?
Now that is a civil and rational question to ask. Gutwrencher later responded in a civil and rational manner. No problem. In between, you decided that you wanted to pick a fight. If you had not attacked my one word question, there would be no argument. What is your problem? You are arguing pointlessly, as my one word question was 100% valid and warranted. So why did you object to my asking, "Source?". What exactly was wrong with asking that? Why did you attack me for that? I really want to see how you can describe "Source?" as anything but a civil and rational question.

Are you for real? Did you forget about when you posted: "Well, until this is sourced in a verifiable manner, this is an unsubstantiated rumor and unworthy of further discussion"? You posted that before I joined the thread. As I have made abundantly clear, my posts to you on your wannabe-moderatorisms have concerned that statement; I've even quoted it for you before. I have not said a single thing about your "Source?" question.

I didn't.

I didn't.

Just move along. You're now making stuff up in order to defend yourself, so it's clearly time to cut your losses.

Everything to which you refer would never have been posted if you had not attacked my one word post, "Source?". That is a fact. So, yes, I am for real. You started this whole argument by attacking that one word post. If you skip all the posts except my dialog with gutwrencher, there is no problem. Your saying that you didn't instigate a fight is belied by your posts. That is a fact. Live with it. Let me show you what started this so that people can see that you are the one making things up. Gutwrencher posted the following:

RichDB10 then posted:

Not knowing about the actual convention mentioned, but i would guess that if it wasn't Bill Lustig giving some kind of presentation then it would have been a Blue Underground representative.??..i could of course be totally wrong!
I responded:

Well, until this is sourced in a verifiable manner, this is an unsubstantiated rumor and unworthy of further discussion.
Note that this is all civil up to this point. Now you start the fight with the following:

It was said in front of a big crowd by Bill Lustig at the Fangoria/Chiller Theatre Convention this past weekend. It is now being discussed by just about every horror board on the net. Pick any one at random to read multiple reports on it from people who attended. Is that "worthy" enough for you?

DJ
Your post is sarcastic for no reason. You insult me for no reason. You offer no verifiable sources either. You simply resort to an appeal to authority, i.e. "just about every other horror board". That is what started the fight, your sarcastic response to civil and rational posts. That is reality. Live with it and move on yourself.

I NEVER DID THIS. Either prove it with a direct quote or stop lying. As even you clearly show in your sequence of events, I replied to your reply to RichDB10, not your reply to gutwrencher. I never "attacked" your reply to gutwrencher. N-E-V-E-R.

Stop lying already and move on. Anyone with a brain will have already figured out that you're just lying, anyway, so it's not as if you can suddenly make progress by lying even more.

Your post is sarcastic for no reason.
I was sarcastic because you were rude to RichDB10.

You insult me for no reason.
I insult you because you're rude and a liar.

You offer no verifiable sources either.
Actually, I already posted two links from people who attended the Blue Underground event. If first-hand information from Bill Lustig isn't verifiable enough for you, then tough luck.

That is what started the fight, your sarcastic response to civil and rational posts.
Actually, it began when you pulled your wannabe moderator crap and rudely told RichDB10 that a topic was "unworthy of further discussion"

That is reality. Live with it and move on yourself.
Your reality appears much closer to the Twilight Zone.

Please, for the love of god, enough with the lies and the Twilight Zone version of reality. Please just cut it out and let the thread move along. This was a very productive thread until you declared that an on-topic post was "unworthy of further discussion." If you want to make up lies, just do it to yourself so that the rest of us can actually get on with the topic. It's a very exciting time for Blue Underground, and your childish antics are nothing more than an annoyance.

Closing thread. I haven't read through this all the way yet, but right now, I'm agreeing with everyone who says that it's the job of the mods & admins to decide what topics are okay for discussion. If you think something shouldn't be talked about on here, report the topic to us... don't post that opinion in the thread.
