2004 Fox Studio Classics: What would you like to see?

I haven't seen any posts announcing the next series of film classics from Fox,
so, in case anyone at the studio is monitoring this board, I thought we ought to
have a thread with our suggestions. Here are mine, in order of preference:

Heaven Can Wait (Lubitsch, 1943)
Unfaithfully Yours (Sturges, 1948)
My Darling Clementine (Ford, 1946)
Two for the Road (Donen, 1967)
Leave Her to Heaven (Stahl, 1945)
Cluny Brown (Lubitsch, 1946)
How to Steal a Million (Wyler, 1966)
The Girl Can't Help It (Tashlin, 1956)
Desk Set (Lang, 1957)
Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter? (Tashlin, 1957)
Roxie Hart (Wellman, 1942)
Nightmare Alley (Goulding, 1947)

and, of course,
The Grapes of Wrath (Ford, 1940) [previously announced in 2003; delayed for restoration of new film elements]

Great list. I'd love to have every one of those.

I don't have anything to add to the list, but Nightmare Alley is one I've been wanting forever. From what I understand, it's all tied up in leagal issues, and has been for a long long time. There's no telling if we'll ever get this.

Definitely second How to Steal a Million and Roxie. They've made such good choices with that line so far that I don't mind just waiting and seeing what they announce for next year, but you put together a great list.

Roxie Hart would be an excellent choice, and a wise choice as well, given the huge success of Chicago. I've never seen any of the films mentioned in this thread, but one of the things I really like about the Fox Studio Classics series is that it's already introduced me to several great films that I'd never seen before.

Fox needs to release the Charlie Chan films.

I also would like "Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte".

According to an email sent to me by Myra B director Mike Sarne, he's just back from LA having made a commentary, and put together a making of documentary of the movie. As yet there is no word from Fox about this release, in fact when I telephoned Fox they point blank denied that they had any plans whatsoever to release the movie. What is happening has anyone else heard the rumour of a release date for this great kitsch classic? As a dedicated fan of the late great Mae West I for one would be dancing for joy if the movie appeared in this crisp new format!!

As well as:

Emperor of The North

I know they don't qualify as classics but I still want 'em!
