Hehe, good suggestion Major Joe. Sorry, it won't happen again Numanoid. Cornelius was not being sarcastic though. His comments in a recent thread and subsequent insulting me led me to my post.

In a much more polite way I restate:

Cornelius, it is obvious that you would be much better off viewing VHS tapes. Please consider not purchasing or accepting DVD's in the future as there is always the chance that you may accidentally purchase the widescreen version of a film or be given one as a present and be forced against your will to view it. Owning only hacked up VHS tapes will safeguard you against the horror that you feel watching a movie in its' OAR is.

Man, I hope you're not serious. When did I insult you in a previous thread? I remember this thread you speak of, in which I basically said Ghostbusters was "magical" in pan and scan. Are you friggin' kidding me? Perhaps you should read on in that very thread where I claimed to own the Full Screen Ghostbusters DVD. And excuse me, but isn't calling someone a "moron" considered a personal attack, and isn't that a big no-no here? One of the reasons I got into DVDs was the ability to watch a movie in its OAR with the best possible sound and picture. If you clicked on the link to my colletion, you'd see that every DVD I own is in its OAR. Of course, I don't expect you to know anything about me (which makes your claims that much more irrelevant) or take the time to click on my collection link. But don't jump to conclusions about me when you know absolutely nothing about me.

It's called a joke. This isn't even your real name. It's not like we're in high school and I'm making fun of your real name. To hold a grudge for a silly joke that was far from an insult to you is ridiculous. You act like I called you an idiot... or a moron. I didn't. I think your name is silly, that's true. That's my opinion. Guess what? So is mine. Who cares? It's not like you have a sentimental attachment to it. Or maybe you do. Learn to deal.

Hehe sorry about that, just kidding around due to me being extremely bored (and a little annoyed because the House of Wax dvd is not in 3D...oh well) I got a kick out of you pretending to prefer the full-frame version of Ghostbusters, that fitting a 2.35 film into a 1.33 screen was magical, and that saying that you even purchased a full-frame dvd of it that was now OOP. In keeping with the theme I decided to take you absolutely dead seriously and ridiculously say that you "insulted" me with your usage of "instantcoffeinyourmug" which I actually found pretty funny. I probably should not have used the word moron as in looking at my post it did indeed come across as a personal attack. I should have used the word dummy or poopyhead for example to show my lighthearted approach.

No hard feelings. I'll cut it out now. You have a nice collection.

Also, this thread should probably be locked. It was pretty ridiculous from the get-go.

Apology accepted (although you do come across as being serious, so it's hard to believe that you weren't at this point, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, cuz I'm a nice guy ). Now, before this thread gets locked, let's hold hands and sing Kumbaya!
