Zhang's "To Live" MGM DVD - Quality?

What is the verdict on MGM's transfer of To Live (aka Lifetimes - Huozhe)?

The picture actually looks pretty good. Better than what I was expecting it to look. It's 16x9 Anamorphic. The colors are good. The picture is sharp. There are no blemishes or scratches to be seen. It is leaps and bounds better than the Chinese DVD transfer. MGM did a good job with the transfer. If you like this movie this is the version to get.
