Batman/ Superman animated season sets.....

Season sets after all?
7/19/2003
Back in April we reported that Warner management, in an online chat, stated there were no plans to release Batman: The Animated Series in season set form (and no plans to release Superman: The Animated Seris on DVD at all). Reaction was immediate, even among members of the chat, who continued to pester Warner for season sets.
Well, Warner is listening! Jim Harvey at ToonZone.net has posted this information:
Announced during the Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman San Diego Comicon panel, expect DVD box sets for Batman: The Animated Series to hit shelves in the near future.
During the panel for Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman, a Warner Bros. representative confirmed that Batman: The Animated Series, as well as Superman: The Animated Series, would be given box set treatments.
This is great news for fans of the cartoon, who have been largely disatisfied with the best-of releases. And you can thank Warner Brothers by picking up Mystery of the Batwoman on its upcoming release: since it wasn't part of the TV Series (it's a new direct-to-video release), you don't have to worry about buying it twice!
Our thanks to Patrick McCart for sharing.

Thankfully I only bought the first disc they released. Luckily, WB started putting only 4 eps on the discs, which pissed me off enough not to buy them.
Please do this one right WB!

This would be fantastic!!! After being let down by the first Batman disc, I said to myself: Screw WB, I'll watch my old tapes or catch reruns on cable.
Now if only we could get sets of:
X-men - original show
X-men Evolution
Justice League
I am so willing to spend my $$$ on season sets.

I am also glad I haven't bought any of the single disc collections. Four episodes for 19.99? I don't think so! I was holding out for box sets. Now, I just hope they start from the beginning and contain all the episodes from the previous releases, and at least 10 episodes per disc.
Now we got Superman on the horizon, what about Batman Beyond?

I bought the first Batman disc, and after they took A YEAR to release the second one, I said screw it, and decided not to collect them. I'm glad to hear they'll likely be season sets now!
