Looks like its going to be a direct to video release. The "Batwoman" in the feature kind of looks like the current comic book batgirl.
Personally, I'm pretty excited that WB hasn't forgotten the original BTAS world...

Bruce and Paul aren't having any problems, Paul's just been busy. They're working on an Ivy and Harley comic book mini-series together and Paul is writing one or two Justice League episodes this season.

well I don't know the whole story but I thought that they had some sort of falling out--When WB decided that Batman Beyond:Return of the Joker needed to be de-violenced a bit, Bruce Timm went ahead and approved the changes without asking Paul Dini's input, and this was why Paul Dini wasn't "on board" for Justice League season one. At the time Mr. Dini was asked in some interview I read why he wasn't doing JL--his answer was something about "recovering from a recent injury" and I think the feeling in the fan community was that it was the Return of the Joker incident he was talking about. So if this was never true in the first place, or if it wasn't as serious as I thought, or if they've "made up" I'm very glad. I just wish he was on JL full time--sadly, I don't feel the writing on that show is nearly as good as it was on Batman TAS/Superman TAS

Here's a story on the Harley and Ivy mini announced this weekend at the San Diego Comic Con.

Here's a quote on their relationship, made this weekend:
Dini said that another collaboration between Timm and himself is imminent, although it’s not a comic book. “Bruce and I did work together on an episode of Justice League which will be hitting the airwaves this December, so that's not too far away.”

Good thing I checked this board out when I did. I was just on my way to Best Buy where I planned to get the new Batman disc. I shared the same feelings at many others here in regards to saying, "Screw it," when it took a year to release the second one, but a friend bought me the second one and I like the eps. on this new one. However, I can now wait because of this news.

I love the Batman Animated Series, especially the early seasons, so this is a release that I'm definitely lookig forward to.
