Yeah, those worst three you listed I'm not too proud of. Armageddon (which I loathe) I got for free so I took it. The other two are movies I liked when I was younger so I decided to pick them up, yet I find myself less and less impressed with them as the years go by.

I haven't seen Life of Brian or Meet the Feebles, though I want to. And for MST3K the Movie, I would love to have it. I just don't wanna pay $60 for it.

Hmm, in that case I don't know what to say for the third "worst three" title. You have quite an impressive collection.

With respect to Mr. Foo's collection:

Best:
Ultimate Toy Box - should be a standard in almost any collection for its universal appeal.
Cosmos: Collector's Edition - Scientific documentary that doesn't feel dated even after 25 years and Carl Sagan's ability to explain almost anything to almost anybody.
The Thing: Collector's Edition - Lest you think it's all about the box sets, this inexpensive 1-disc DVD presents an excellent movie, great extras and a special effects labor of love when you learn about the lengths they go to for the SFX.

Worst - with so many psychotronic movies, "worst" is subjective and in many cases bad is good, so I'm going on instinct here:
Barb Wire
Maid In Manhattan
The Master of Disguise

Need: how do you tell someone with over 1200 DVDs what they need?
Futurama / Family Guy collections: Since you've got Simpsons and South Park.
Cannibal: The Musical and Delicatessen: Cannibalistic entries you're missing that relate since you have South Park, Amelie and City of Lost Children.
The Quick and The Dead: you've got most of the other Sam Raimi films and his take on a western would fit right into your collection.
Honorable mention - Monty Python's The Meaning Of Life: I assume you're waiting on the collector's edition.

Edited to comment on dcambensy's following assessment
Thanks for bringing the thread back, I thought I was going to be last.
Best-
No arguments there.

Worst -
AI: Again, no argument, that one's at the top of my own worst list. Damn thing just would not end.
NYC Ballet Workout: I figured someone would comment on that. Actually, it's one of the wife's few in "our" collection. A really good workout, she tells me.
Star Trek IV: Your admitted personal discretion, but then, that's what we're all doing here.

Missing-
Casablanca: Wasn't on my want list before, but you make a good point and it should be there.
Brotherhood of the Wolf and The Navigator (1988): Thanks for picking foreign / obscure films that I otherwise wouldn't know about. I'll look into them.

I enjoyed this thread. Thought it deserved a bump.

RKillgore

Best:

12 Monkeys: Collectors Edition - One of Brad Pitt's best roles
Léon: The Professional: International Version
The Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring: Platinum Series

Worst (or the just not my thing category):

A.I.: Artificial Intelligence: Special Edition - Promising start, downhill from there
New York City Ballet Workout - probably has some nice images
Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home: Collector's Edition - Like Star Trek, loathed this one.

Need:

Brotherhood of the Wolf - Great imagery, not so great monster outfit
Casablanca: Two-Disc Special Edition - Ebert Commentary; say no more
The Navigator - Medieval travelers tunnel through Earth and burst into the Twentieth Century

My small collection

Best of(very nice collection, hard to choose):

Sunrise
A Hard Day's Night
Castle in the Sky

Worst of:

Idle Hands

Good grief Thickle.

It only took me forever and I had to just scan through some of them.

Worst:

Battlefield Earth
Cliffhanger
Singin' in the Rain

Best:

Rebecca: CC
Saving Private Ryan
Godfather Trilogy

Need:

Singin' in the Rain: SE (I see you've doubled dipped on many of your movies and this is one that should be in everyone's collection in my opinion

Band of Brothers

Fantasia Anthology

Considering the breadth of your collection not bad at all but one area that I can't really judge is your horror section as I'm not much of a horror guy.

dcambensy did mine a few posts back, so I didn't put my collection link in there. But I noticed some confusion and some people getting skipped, so I thought I would call that to everyone else's attention. Please assess DVD.guy's, Danno010, or Muah'dib's collection and refer to which one you're doing.

Tom Campbell:

Best 3:
Transformers: The Movie
Run Lola Run
Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, The - Special Extended Edition

Worst 3:
Vulgar (Sorry, but I couldn't stand the sound transfer!)
Smallville (Just a cheap shot, cause I can tell with the rest of your collection you will be getting the Smallville Season 1 set, and I approve of that!)
RoboCop 3 (Why 3? WHY?)

Missing 3:
Boondock Saints (I think every collection needs this)
Battle Royale (With your Asian selection, I'm suprised, but then you could be holding out for a region 1)
Justice League (Any of the current releases)

Overall a wide variety, lots of TV box sets, not a fan of horror?

Anyways, mine should be easy, sitting at about 26 dvd's!

Best 3:

LOTR Fellowship extended
Day of the Dead
Magnolia

Worst 3

Steve O (my god i can't imagine how bad this is)
Commando (you know you're a pedophile when you buy this for a young Alyssa Milano)
The Beach (wasn't this straight to video??)

Missing 3

Well, there are no comedies...maybe a couple of Woody Allens:
Manhattan
Annie Hall

and Jackass to replace the Steve O

I'll defend the three not so best by point out I got them for free, though I did ask for Gladiator.

Bride of Frankenstein is definitly on my want list, I'll have to check out the Big Sleep and Manhattan.

Ok Reggie44... here are my picks from your collection

BEST 3:

MAGNOLIA - One of PT Andersons finest flicks and the doc on disc 2 is phenomenal.

REAR WINDOW - One of Hitchcock's best films...making it one of the best films you're ever likely to see.

GODFATHER COLLECTION - Just when I think I'm out...they pull me back in... terrific.

WORST 3:

SLIDING DOORS - I don't know why, but I hate hate hate this movie.

PRACTICAL MAGIC - need I say more.

THE ANIMATRIX - I also own this, but am not a fan of it.

3 DVDS YOU SHOULD GET:

you seem to have a fair amount of Woody Allen titles and I would highly recommend TAKE THE MONEY AND RUN. It's an early picture of his and is hysterically funny... the disc is bare bones and I think it might be OOP, but it's brilliant.

SOUTH PARK - Season Sets... so...damn...good

O BROTHER, WHERE ART THOU? - Since you have both Lebowski and Raising Arizona, I think this other Coen gem is a must... a madcap romp that demands repeat viewings.

oh, also, I think everyone should own a copy of FEAR & LOATHING IN LAS VEGAS... it should be a pre-requisite for owning movies IMO.

3 Worst:
The Real Cancun
Darkness Falls
TMNT III

3 You need:
Alien: Resurrection
THE FOG!
Halloween

If your going to own Jason X, you should at least have Halloween, a horror classic.
