Wouldn't even dream of trying to list only 3 of your best DVD's or indeed try to tell you your 'worst' 3.....IMPRESSIVE collection.

Instead i hope you don't mind if i break with convention and use this as an exercise to remind you of 3 titles to pick up in the future.

Dead & Buried (BU) As if you need to be told

I'm suprised you haven't got this as yet:

Night Train (Synapse)

and are you aware of this title that's going to be released soon...sounds interesting

thanks alot my friend. D & B from BU is a dvd I've been looking forward to for some time. my current copy is o.k., but this film needs to be treated right, and thats what BU does. cant wait. I've been meaning to pick up Night Train....thanks for lightin' the fire under my ass!! and The Living Corpse looks very good. I've put that down on my list....thank you, thank you.

Worst: Not Another Teen Movie, A.I.: Artificial Intelligence, Funny Farm

Suggestions: You have so much, I don't know what I missed. LOTR: FOTR, Simpsons, Amadeus

Worst 3: There's a lot I haven't seen, but these are my least favorite. They were decent, just not as good as your others.

You need these:
1. An Evening With Kevin Smith

...overall, great list man. I'm impressed on how many great titles you have.
Actually,

I have An Evening with Kevin Smith and Old School Unrated. I just uploaded those to the list yesterday. I wonder why they aren't showing.

Thanks for the compliments.

Thanks, I'll give it a go and see if I can figure it out. Anyone want to do mine? 52 DVD's since Decemember when I finally got a DVD player and started buying DVD's. I've got a wish list a mile wide! All in due time...

Funny you should mention the last two. I gave my brother the Family Guy set for his birthday and have borrowed it and watched nearly every episode on the set. I may have to buy it again for myself
As for Young Frankenstein, it's on my list of VHS tapes I need to buy on DVD. I might pick it up this weekend.

Godfather Trilogy - eh. They aren't films I necessarly enjoyed enough to buy. Good recommendation though.

A quick note - I tried not to double up on myself. So all you people who have Jaws, rest assured that it rocks. I just didn’t want to list it over and over and over again. And if you ask me again Monday morning, I'll give you a different answer - it's all subjective to my mood at the moment.

Ginwen
Best three:
01) The Golden Voyage of Sinbad (tho really, any of the Harryhausen would fit in this slot)
02) H.R. Pufnstuf
03) Jaws: Collector's Edition

Frankly tho, those were arbitrary choices - you and I have a LOT of the same tastes.

Worst three:
01) Blade Runner: Director's Cut - overhyped by my friends spoiled me to the movie.
02) Lord of the Rings 1.0 and 2.0 - the movie just didn’t do anything for me.
03) Annie Hall - mostly because I don’t like Woody and it beat out Star Wars for best picture.

Missing from:
01) Return of Spinal Tap - If you have This Is Spinal Tap: Special Edition, then you really should have the follow up concert video - slated for release sometime real soon in R1, if I recall.
02) Land of the Lost - Since you've got Pufnstuff, how about some more Sid and Marty goodness. A damn fine show, even 20 years later.
03) No Planet of the Apes: The TV show?

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Darkflounder:
Best three:
01) Babylon 5 season 1 and 2
02) Red Dwarf 1 and 2
03) Ghostbusters

That's a pretty quality collection

Worst three:
01) Still gotta go with Lord of the Rings.
02) Rumble in the Bronx - not one of Jackie's better outings (and a dreadful edit job to boot)
03) The Mummy Returns. An OK story, but man did that rolling brownout hurt ILM's ability to handle the effects on that movie. Dreadful looking.

Missing from:
01) What - no Babylon 5 Pilot?
02) Terminator 2 but no Terminator?
03) Attack of the Clones but no Phantom Menace?

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Lesterlong:
Best three:
01) Equilibrium - That movie totally rox0r!
02) Robocop - Classic Verhoven!
03) North by Northwest - Poor Rodger Thornhill never gets respect.

Worst three:
01) Austin Power 1, 2 and 3 - *shudder*
02) The Crow
03) X-Men

Missing from:
01) Young Frankenstein or Blazing Saddles - you need some more Mel in your collection. Spaceballs just aint enough.
02) Friday the 13th needs an upgrade to that special ed coming soon
03) Kentucky Fried Movie but no Airplane?

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Pillowhead:
Best three:
01) Tron - damn I cant wait for the Tron 2.0 game to come out!
02) Army of Darkness - Hey. . . Bruce rocks.
03) Battle Royale - the movie you will never, ever see in the US.

Worst three:
01) Interview with the Vampire: Special Edition - Daniel Steele for Goths.
02) Star Wars, Empire and Jedi - Bootlegs BAD! No cookie for YOU!
03) Happy Gilmore - Number 3 on the "Actors I Cant Stand from SNL" list

Missing from:
01) The Thing From Another World - to compliment the John Carpenter version
02) Excellent Adventure but no Bogus Journey?
03) Lock, Stock - the R2 PAL version Directors Cut, if you can handle it.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Nemein:
Best three:
01) Guns of Navarone - I keep meaning to upgrade from my LD to this.
02) Mask of Zorro - Best pulp movie to come along since the last Indy movie.
03) Galaxy Quest - best Star Trek movie to come out in YEARS!

Worst three:
01) Apocalypse Now - I can acknowledge that the movie is quality, it just doesn’t do anything for me.
02) Lost in Space - sigh, 2 hours of my life I will never get back.
03) The Defender - I thought there was a non-edited R1 version out?

Missing from:
01) Need more Hitchcock!
02) You probably should upgrade the R1 HK discs with some of the better HK Legends discs.
03) You also might want to look into the Babycart series that AnimEigo is putting out. Those are some classic samurai films.

Whew - that's enough for the moment. But now if someone wants to
take a look at my list!, I wont be offended. . . .
