wait a sec, I thought the idea of this posting was that you were supposed to play off the persons prior list including the 'missing/need' titles. right? (titles the past person had, that you wanted to add to your own collection)

Pillowhead's:
Top 3: ...You've got an awesome list of DVD's here. It's hard to pick your top 3, but here are a few of my favorites that are on your list.
1. Rushmore: Criterion
2. Back To The Future Trilogy
3. Almost Famous
Worst 3: There's a lot I haven't seen, but these are my least favorite. They were decent, just not as good as your others.
1. Death To Smoochy
2. Very Bad Things
3. Scream
You need these:
1. An Evening With Kevin Smith
2. The Simpsons season sets
3. Old School: Unrated
...overall, great list man. I'm impressed on how many great titles you have.

Yeah, I have kids, too.
Best 3 (my favorites):
Wallace and Grommit
Pee Wee's Big Adventure
Gross Pointe Blank
"Worst" 3 (my least favorite):
Big Daddy, Happy Gilmore, etc. (not a huge Sandler fan)
Independence Day, The Patriot (ditto for Emmerich)
Excess Baggage
Need:
You've got a nice collection of family stuff. I would recommend getting some of the Disney Treasures tins, especially the Goofy, Mickey (color & B/W), Davy Crockett, and Silly Symphonies to round out your Disney collection.
I would also recommend The 5000 Fingers of Dr. T (Dr. Suess live action musical from the 50's) since you like the Suess stuff.
And maybe just expand your horror (Re-Animator, Suspiria, etc.) and western (High Plains Drifter, Man with no Name trilogy, Tombstone, Django, The Great Silence) selections if you like these genres.
Other than that, a very enjoyable collection!

well cared for collection when it comes to titles. best 3: Black Sabbath, I Drink Your Blood, Planet of the Vampires. a Bava fan always gets good marks
. worst 3: Goonies, Muppets Take Manhatten and ?. not much else I didnt like. what you need is ESSENTIAL: Black Sunday from Bava, The Great Silence(sketti western), and I Spit On Your Grave, the millinium edition with the Joe Bob Briggs commentary.

Foreign (depends on where you live I guess): Time Out (great French film similar in tone to The Sweet Hereafter)
Off-beat: Little Otik (Svankmajer's most accessible film, still might be too strange for your collection if you're not into that sort of thing, but would flesh out your collection a little more)
