Is the color tinting on your tv a little high, or is it the picture since Frodo's face looks pink.

Yup . . . it is . . .
Spoiler:
. . . it's at the end when Tom Hanks' character (whatever his name was) is standing at the crossroads trying to figure out where to go next . . .

Brian,

Nice setup. I recently made some changes to my dedicated HT as well. I'll be sure to show some pics at a later date.

Where did you get those light boxes? What kind are they and are they using UV filtered plexi on both sides of the poster?

This is from over the summer. Now I have twice as many dvds, and another dvd rack. If you notice carefully, you'll see that this is actually home made thanks to my father. God bless him, he did a wonderful job.

One day I'll post a photo of my hometheatre.

That shelf is sweet. When I get a house (hopefully later this year), I'll be borrowing your design. Really cool.

Yeah, cool shelf. I like the shelves being at a angle such that the DVDs are slightly tilted up. Is the backing of the shelves also tilted (in order to form a right angle with the shelves)?

Yes, they are tilted. I can take no credit for building the shelves, though. My wife's cousin custom-built them for us as wedding gift. They were originally in our previous house, and luckily there was a good place to put them in our entertainment room upstairs when we moved into our new house.

I'll take some DVDs out and get a detail shot of how the back of the shelf looks.
