Warner Deluxe Box Sets...

Oh boy... These sets look wonderful with all those supplements for collectors but they are very hard to reach as much. How many of these sets do you own and which one is your favorite?

I guess my favorite is the "Matrix Deluxe Edition"... photo stills, lobby cards, poster, feature (with Matrix Revisited) and of course the packaging.

Uh... I have none... but they're great. I've seen some of them, especially The Wizard of Oz, which is being opened and I have the chance to read the screenplay. Pretty neat stuff.

They do look nice. I don't have any of them though since I already have most of them as single discs. I would probably buy the Matrix and Superman sets but they contain the same exact dvds. Plus, they are not cheap. I can't believe they have a box set for Twister either ....

I only have The Exorcist, and it's an amazing set. The book and soundtrack that comes with it is wonderful.

FWIW, I picked up The Storm for $11 shipped from hitmenow.com about a year ago, they had a ton they were selling on ebay. If you really really want one of these for cheap, put in a search that emails you hits on ebay and be patient.

I bought the one for the Perfect Storm off Ebay for $25 a few months ago and I love it. If I had the resources for them, I'd pick up a few more (Bullitt, Ben Hur, Matrix), but I can't see myself spending $50 for movies that I could get for $15 without the extras.

From: Right now, my location is DVDTalk, but then again, you should already know that, shouldn't you?
I own:

BLADE RUNNER
BLAZING SADDLES
THE EXORCIST
THE MATRIX (non-autographed)
TWISTER
and THE WIZARD OF OZ

I want:
2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY
BEN HUR
CITIZEN KANE
A CLOCKWORK ORANGE
FULL METAL JACKET
Alfred Hitchcock's NORTH BY NORTHWEST
PULP FICTION
and SUPERMAN

They're overpriced, but God help me, I do love 'em so--I'm such a sucker for the "biggest and baddest" packages...

I have Wizard of Oz, and really only because it was on sale. The script is really neat though.
