Any plans for the X-Men: Animated Series on DVD?
The thread title says it all. Ever since this show started playing on TV again, Saturdays on ABC Family I believe, I have hardly missed an episode. I forgot how much I loved this show when it was on especially with the storylines taken directly from the comics. The new series X-Men: Evolution is good but the Animated Series takes the cake for me. I would definitely get this if it was ever released on DVD season sets. Does anybody know if this is in the works? Who else wants this show on DVD?

If I remember correctly, there was only one season of it, so there wouldn't be multiple season sets.
I DO know that some individual storylines have been released on DVD. I've got The Phoenix Saga in my collection, but I haven't been able to find any of the other sets anywhere.

Only one season? Couldn't have been. there had to be atleast 2-3 seasons as I recall season cliff hangers.
It's all up to buena vista now since Fox sold away those rights to them. this also includes and potential TICK animated series. hopefully buena vista will do with them.

Buena Vista has the rights to these, and they seem content to release Marvel DVDs only around the release of new movies. I would bet on another X-Men animated DVD when X2 is released on DVD. Most of the first season is on DVD, but OOP.

Besides The Simpons, this is one of the few cartoons I could see myself buying on DVD. Hopefully they make this happen. It would especially be good to release during the void from X-Men 2 coming out in theaters to being released on DVD.
