DVD Profiler Report Question

Can anybody help me out with a report creation problem?

I made a report which lists only titles, MSRP and my Purchase Price, okay - no problem so far. Now I want to total MSRP and Purchase Price information as a report footer. For example: at the bottom of the report I want it to show

TOTAL MSRP Total Purchase Price

$6,000.00 $4,500.23

(example only).

Thanks

Pull it into Excel and total the columns.

On the DVDProfiler website, one of the top downloaded reports is "DVD Discount" or something close to that. Very minimal with Title, MSRP, and purchase price, % discount and $ totals at the bottom of the last page. You can use it or open the report to see how totals are done and modify your own.

Thanks digitalmanAZ! Appreciate it. Of course as imp66 says, could also pull it into Excel - huh?! is that possible, to pull it directly into Excel? How please?

From the DVDProfiler File menu, you can export your collection to a .CSV (comma separated value) file. Open the .CSV in Excel and use the Sum function at the bottom of the MSRP and Price columns. You could also get fancy and sort to your liking then use Data:Subtotals.

DigitalmanAZ! Right! got it, easy as pie. I should have looked at the export options in DVDProfiler before I posted such a silly question! So, it wasn't actually a "pull it into" Excel as much as it was an "export it to an Excel format". Ha, we're both to blame!

Anyway, Thanks.

And ... correct, the name of the report is precisely "Discount DVD", but it has some errors in it, for some reason. The MSRP of the "Back to the Future" Trilogy shows as $59.98 and I paid $46.73 (including postage) for it, but my discount shows as
-5.1% (yes, that's a negative 5.1%). Weird. But it makes me not trust the report very much!
