Spawn: THE ULTIMATE COLLECTION

HI

Has anyone got or seen the animated Spawn: THE ULTIMATE COLLECTION ?

Is it worth getting as it sounds pretty good from what I've heard.

Views please

I own it. I love it. If you can find a reasonable price on it $30-45, I would suggest that you get it. It is a rather violent comic book show; very dark. I caught this show every few episode (although it is not really presented as episodes) a few years back, but I and VERY happy that I bought it on DVD to see the whole story. I would recommend that you at least rent it. But like I said, if you can get a good price, go for it.

I own it and love it. My only complaint is that the series was cancelled after the last season. There is no resolution and way too many things are left unresolved.

Every show is cancelled after its "last season" - that's why we call it "last"

OK, what I meant is that it was cancelled AFTER the last season was finished. Had the creators known it wouldn't be picked up they could have ended a lot of incomplete story arcs.

I just ordered it a few days ago for $29.99 at DDD. Very cool show when it was on HBO.

Great set bought it from columbiahouse for 30$. My biggest complaints are:

1, Dvds are flippers

2, They edited the series into movie form instead of the Original Episode style. This was really annoying, when you consider that you have to flip the disc halfway through.

3, As already mentioned the Series really started to get good when HBO axed it. I wouldn't mind seeing Mcfarland Doing a OVA release to finish it up.
