I'm tellin' ya, it's impossible to understand the appeal unless you're a Rik Mayall* fan! (He's the reason I went - PAID - to see this movie in the theater on first run.)
(*I suppose Phoebe Cates fans too, but there aren't nearly as many opportunities to see Mayall in a role as there are Cates)
