Why is Drop Dead Fred #8 on Amazon?
Drop Dead Fred, possibly one of the worst movies ever, is now number 8 on the top ten DVDs of the day at Amazon. Has hell indeed frozen over?

Whoa, Drop Dead Fred is coming out? That's a great movie! Rik Mayall rules. I'm ordering now! Thanks for the post!
PS: This might sound like a sarcastic post...but it's not. Yeah, I do like the movie. Some people just do, you know?

They made that movie somewhere in Minneapolis. I think a friend of mine knows somebody who knows somebody who was in it or something. That's probably why it's selling so well.

The real question is, why isn't it Numero Uno????? I mean c'mon, how could ppl rather by Gangs of New York instead of Drop Dead Fred? Where's the Criterion for this movie already?

Somebody correct me, 'cause I'm just flipping this out there. Was this Phoebe's last movie before her hiatus? I know Princess Caribou was in there, it's nice to see she went out on top...

I know, "different strokes...", etc., but I found this movie to be the most annoying movie I have ever seen. I've seen worse movies (heck, I've LIKED worse movies), but I found this excruciating to sit through.
Someone must have liked it, though...

Anyway, I loved this movie when I was a kid, but I saw it again about a year ago and couldn't stand it. I think I'll have to pass on this one.

The only time I saw this movie had to be over 10 years ago on Showtime or Cinemax and once was too much. It also left me with a feeling of extreme annoyance that I carry with me to this day. I think the feeling that comes to mind is not dissimilar to what Alex in A Clockwork Orange must have experienced. The movie struck me as a third rate Beetlejuice knock-off. It's popularity is most definitely a sign of mass psychosis.
