Hmm.... When I saw the thread title, this sprang to mind.

{song} It is the thread that doesn't end--it just goes on and on my friend. Some people, starting reading without knowing what it was, and they'll continue reading it forever just because it is the thread that doesn't end--it just goes on and on my friend..." {/song}

Can you recommend a blind buy?

1. Nope, I don't know you.
2. Nope, there are lots and lots of websites with best lists and reviews.

Know thyself and read for thyself.

"1. Which was your first...DVD?"

So clever.

I have seen this thread WAY too many times and I could not possibly care any less.

And I agree on the @!)(#* "insert" threads.

3) You can get it for under $9 at CH
and

does this movie come with an insert?
You can't go a day without seeing a "insert" thread on the first page. Sad.

1) I don't know when it'll be out in R1 but the 4-DVD SE Region 4 disc is AWESOME and it's only 465 Euro (plus international shipping). You need a region free player, and need to know how to read Dutch subtitles but I think everyone should get it now!

2) Yeah, I guess it's good news that Homicide is coming out on DVD... But when is Seinfield, Newsradio, My Mother the Car and Murder, She Wrote coming out with season sets? Then I'll REALLY be happy.
(followed by a dozen other people listing their favorite TV shows)

3) You can get it for under $9 at CH

4) I don't know how anyone would like this movie. I hated it in the theater and don't care if it's ever coming to DVD in OAR with corrected subtitles.
(particularly at numbers 1 and 2...)

1. What are Superbits?
2. Is 'such and such' movie (non-Columbia Tri-Star) going to be a a Superbit? How come we don't have a Star Wars Attack of the Clones superbit?

I think the people who keep saying 'No DTS no sale' who are not kidding, are annoying.

Or the people you keep spell checking others posts for them.

Or people who argue what cencorship is.

Or people who rant like this.....

sorry off to punish myself.

Any posts that attack the poster

Some us lack skills in punctuation, spelling, word perfect to you graduating form High School. See what errors you make 20 years out of High School

Attacking the postor for a typo or his/her bad this or that is not what DVDtalk Forum was made up for. I and all others have feelings that can be hurt while your ROTFLYAO. After you start to loose skills taught, then you become a target of the younger generation.

A joke is great as long as the postor can laugh with the joke, but time after time don't make the postor the *butt* of the joke. I have been hit hard that's why I don't post any more just respond, my feelings were hurt too much too many times. I am crippled but when your disabled you deal with it. If putting posts on is too much of a hurt then just respond which I am now doing.

How about "how do you store your dvds" threads?

I'm thinking about starting a thread titled "what is the most common letter in your collection that starts the movie title (you can't use "T" in "The")...sounds like a fascinating thread!

And now, I'm off to start a thread that will surely end up in this list (I think another one I started made it in here....just a thread I started that no one replied to in a 3 day period, so I came back in and begged for someone to post).
