What was your first DVD?

The first one i saw was in 2000, My brother got his DVD player down to my parents house, and the first movie he put in was:

The Matrix.

It was also the first time I ever saw the film.

Well when and what was your first?

Woah hoh ho. You can't slip on this forum. So was that a false memory or was he all trying to rob us of our first dvd experience to feed some dark alien conspiracy to rob memories???

Ho well - My first was X:Files the movie... I'll akways remember it. As long as aliens don't steal my memories.

Bought my first DVD player (Toshiba SD2109) in preparation for the release of the "Matrix" DVD. But my first disc was the "Fifth Element" purchased the same day as my player... and at full MSRP no less!

Mars Attacks and The Long Kiss Goodnight in 1997. Slim pickings back then, not too many available titles.
