Grosse Pointe Blank re-release?

I saw at Amazon.com Grosse Pointe Blank is now widescreen for the April, 2003 release. I haven't found any new reviews on it. Is it decent?

It's not a re-release. There is only one version available. The April release date was probably just the date of a price drop, and this dvd has always been non-anamorphic widescreen.

Thanks. I thought the first release was pan-'n-scan. I didn't realize it was non-anamorphic.

Still, good enough for me... and as previously stated, a great flick.

I believe it's anamorphic in other regions...as many of BV's releases are. I'm waiting for it to be re-released over here...but otherwise I still have the regular version. Non-anamorphic is better than PAL speedup.

I got mine in a 2 pack with High Fidelity for $15.99 at Best Buy last summer. Great movies, great deal.

I have the Reg 2. It's definitely anamorphic.

$15.99 for both of those is a great deal.

I'll wait until GPB comes out anamorphic though.
