It would be nice if they did but I don't think they will. People who buy the EE are going to see ROTK no matter what. With business in mind it really makes no sense for them to include it.

the same could have been said about FOTR. people were still going to watch the movie, but as someone posted about moviecash, it's ONE free ticket. this secures that one person will go and it helps fluff up the box office intake to a number that looks good. Part of marketing a film is making sure you have good first week numbers so people can feel that it's a good film and those who might not have gone so early will go to get into "the current scene". It also secures that one person goes and that person will normally not go to the movies alone so you get TWO people to go at the very least. One paid and one that the studio already paid.

Lets put it this way, instead of the movie studio just randomly going out there and buying tickets to a movie to fluff up the intake, they fluff it up using you instead.

I didn't get to use my free ticket from the FOTR EE. I expired the day before I went to see The Two Towers

If want to try and get an answer you can e-mail [email protected] and hopefully someone will send you a reply about the free movie ticket thingy.

a little of topic, but a lot of people were wondering what kind of item the Two Towers EE collector's gift set would come with.
Amazon.com has it up for pre-order and it appears to be a statue of gollum.

I'll definitely be buy the Extended Edition, but I'll pass on the statue.
