Futurama

The release list says Futurama Volume 2 is coming out on August 3rd AND September 2nd. Amazon lists the release date as August 12th. Anyone know which one is correct?

I'm already watching season three from the UK. Found a great Easter egg already (about a 5 minute clip of about 80 sayings that were unused for the opening segments).

I can't recommend a region free player enough!

Definitely can't recommend it enough either. Now if I could just find the time to watch it. Still deciding what DVD to watch first Futurama, 28 Days Later, or Irreversible...

When you watch Futurama S3 maybe you can tell us if anything is censored.

Yes, Season 2 as in the 2ACV production season.

Here's a link to what episodes are in the 2ACV production season.

Volume/Season 1 consisted of the 1ACV episodes.

Would you tell me how to acess that egg?

Season 2,3 are great. And I haven't seen anything edited, ofcourse I haven't paid attention.

First episode of first disk. On the menu for that particular episode, press left on your remote. The screen to the left of the episode menu should light up. Click enter and you're there!

edit: oops... it may be the second episode of the first disk. Can't remember. First or second.

Nothing to do with the Futurama DVDs, but I just wanted to mention that Fox is airing the final 5 episodes of Futurama begining July 13-August 10th, and supposedly the final episode will bring some closure to the series.

Here's a link to a report about Fox's Summer schedule which shows when the new Futurama episodes are airing.
Link

As for whether or not the Series Finale will actually bring closure is the series or not, all I know is what I've heard from other forums so you can take it as you will.

Te series finale will indeed bring closure. Back when futurama was still on the line of getting rubbed of Matt and the crew made the show which, if not renewed, would be some sort of closure between Fry's story by
Spoiler:
doing something with the whole Fry and leela story
so it will be indeed some sort of closure.

Yeah.....from the descriptions on various sites I've been to it seems that they will certainly be able to tie up the loose ends.

Info about the last episode we'll ever see:
Spoiler:
The last episode is called The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings and the descriptiosn reads like this:
Fry cuts a deal with the devil which allows him to acquire the skills needed to show Leela that he loves her.
