I Found S.F.W. today....

I found it today at my local Best Buy for $9.99. I didn't know it was even released! I feel that it is on the best cult classics.

S.F.W. Sweet Farm Wuvin'? I'd be surprised to see that at Best Buy too.

Is this an elaborate trick designed to make someone say "****"? Because I'm not saying it! No way will you get me to say "****" in this thread, in regards to the film "So ****ing What"!

S.F.W. is actually the movie's name.

Nice to know it's out on DVD, since I saw the beginning on TV a few years back, and couldn't find it to rent.

It came out yesterday... it was announced a while back... as you can see, not a huge demand for it

Great movie!

Wow...when the hell was it even announced? I don't recall hearing about it at all...& i'm a huge fan of the film!

Jeez..there is another film to add to my must buy list of the year!

Also what happened to Reese? She ruled in this & Freeway, then went all safe & boring.

It is a cheap $9.99 MGM Title. The only special feature on it is the original trailer.

Well true....but what came after is where she leads astray into 'safe' territory. With stuff like Legally Blonde(& it's sequel) & Sweet Home Alabama. From the looks of it. Shes going where the $$ is,rather than the daring stuff she did before. So while it may be fun to make aton of $$$. I would try to also do work i really enjoy, even if it's a cult film, rather than mainstream, meanwhile also make some $$$ with a mainstream film once in awhile. Afterall you still need to pay the bills. Yet i would never give myself over to the mainstream money men..& forget everything else i would love to do,but is not as profitable.

Thats also what makes films like S.F.W. & Freeway so special. At least they are daring & interesting compared to what Hollywood churns out, when they attempt to cover similar issues. They always play it on the safe side, which is a shame.

So i prefer the Reese of those two films compred to the Reese of today which more people probably know. I loved that foul mouthed, illiterate little brat..compared to the 'cleaned' up Reese of today.

I saw this movie as part of a test audience a while before it came out. I don't know if anything got changed, but this was probably the worst movie I've ever seen, and I told them so. After the movie, they picked around 30 people to stay behind to give in-depth comments, and we all tore it apart.
Sorry, don't mean to threadcrap, just thought I would share my actual experience with this "film".
