Since it doesn't have any of the commentaries on the Region 1 discs, it isn't worth buying.

Here's the cover for that Region 1 release I was talking about earlier.

That looks more like a R2 disc. Usually the R1 disc have either a MPAA (G, PG, R, etc) rating or some sort of parental warning. The British rating system is a letter rating followed by an age recommendation.

Strange they would use that for an R1 disc unless the cover art isn't final... or it's an import.

I'd still bet that it's a temp art until they can get a cover scan for the R1 disc. But thanks for noticing, I might have to pick that one up.

This could be worth it for the "Complete set of 85 min. of Deleted scenes". There are different deleted scenes on the Criterion and the other R1. It would be nice to have a release with them all in one place.

The Return of Spinal Tap is nowhere near as good as This Is Spinal Tap...mostly concert footage from what I remember (it's been years since I've seen it). Still, I'm a huge fan of the first film. I'll be picking this one up.

Actually, it's either a letter or a number.

18, 15, 12A, 12, PG, U.

Considering this is an unrated disc, I'm sure the studio just slapped their own rating on there.

Sensational!!!!! I have the VHS version and have been desperately hoping they would go ahead and release this on DVD. Yes, it's mostly concert footage with bits of interviews with the boys talking about their past and showing off their hometown.

To me, the concert stuff IS the reason to get this DVD. I attended a couple of the shows on the '92 US tour (the DVD will have a concert from London) and also saw Tap play on their limited, mostly West Coast tour in 2001. Seeing Tap live IS the ultimate experience!

That's easy for you to say, when I saw them one of the band members got hit in the eye with a laser and they quit after twenty minutes.

Actually that's an Australian rating -- not just the classification itself (M15+) but also the formatting. It's pretty weird since as far as I can tell this hasn't been released in Australia.

Why not just make 10 the max?
Becasue we can go to 11.

I believe that is how it went.
