I was just wondering if anyone is going to buy the new release of Manhunter.I think that i'll have to purchase it just for the Michael Mann commentary.I sooo love this movie!!

If the picture is improved, then that and the commentary will push me over to get it. Actually, only the second time I'll ever double dip a title.

What are the stats BTW, haven't heard anything in a while...

I'll keep my copy and I don't plan to upgrade at all. Like Biz, it will have to be very improved.

I will upgrade--the picture was so bad that it was unwatchable so I will happily double-dip.

I already sold off the previous LE. I can't wait to pick this one up!

i've already got this as i'm from england and it came out on region 2 about a month ago.i,m about half way through the commentary and it's pretty interesting.Mann gives background on bit players that is very informative.Only 2 moans:
1,his accent,i believe he is from chicago? and for someone from england its sometimes hard to understand,this point is not helped by point 2,
2,when he talks they don't reduce the soundtrack enough and it starts getting confusing.
but overall i would recommend the upgrade,i've still kept the previous version as i'm a big fan of mann and manhunter.
and yes the picture is better.

**** yeah it was... I tried watching the DC when the Remake came out and I just couldn't do it. Impossible. I'm double dipping. It's only $12-13, so not that big of deal.

I heard about the crap-DC and held off. So I'll probably pick up this new one, AFTER reading a review of it.

Because most of us live in R1 and don;t have region free plahyers .
