Giant SE Disc Art?

I just opened my copy of Giant: Special Edition. The second DVD has disc art. The first does not. It's just a plain gold disc. Is this the way they all are or did I get a goof?

Its a flipper, the movie is too long to fit on to one disc, so you have to flip the disc over to see the other part of the movie.

there are many movies that are flippers
dances with wolves se
goodfellas
gone with the wind
woodstock
spawn tv

You mean I waited years for this, since the Canadian (non-flipper) version was yanked from the shelves, and the new super duper special edition is a flipper? *sigh*

If you want a decent picture with such long films then you are going to have to put up with a flipper, or least until they start using blue lasers, etc...
