But, as someone else already pointed out, which "two towers" would you want to see? Tolkien never specifically stated which towers he was referring to with the title, and there have been debates for decades over the "correct" interpretation.

Orthanc, Barad-dur, and a lot of floating heads.

Exactly, I absolutely can't believe there is this sort of 'debate' regarding which towers would've been used had they made tower statues. This is from the movie. Isn't obvious from both the teaser and the theatrical poster that the "Two Towers" are Orthanc and Barad-dur?
It's basically PJ's interpretation, just like he took his own spin on the old 'does the balrog have wings' debate (yes, in the movie).
It doesn't matter which towers Tolkien was referring to because this isn't a giftset of the books! Surprising that the gollum statue looks like the movie design too huh?

I've seen one on ebay when they first started fulfilling orders- it sold for close to $700. When and if the price becomes 'right' for me- I'll sell mine. In the meantime I'm quite content in keeping it! The statue and my book are among my favorite lotr 'collectibles'

$700, wow. I guess I should have paid more attention to the toy threads back then!

Who knows, the value on these may drop (or rise) I don't know the 'statue' market very well, but I knew I wanted that balrog since I saw it at comic con. I can't wait for the (likely) eventual wraith and fell beast!

From: You have moved into a dark place. It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.
We won't know for sure until there's an official announcement (probably just after the 2-disc version hits the market) but it looks legit.
I just hope there's more to the set than just the stupid statue.
