rocky 2

i finally found the rocky movies except for part 2. my friend got it however and its fullscreen/1:85 widescreen and the insert is just one page, i saw it with my own eyes. deep discount dvd as well as other sites say its fullscreen/anamorphic widescreen and it has an 8 page booklet. anyone know anything about this? i believe all the other ones are anamorphic howcome this one isnt?

That disc you are talking about is probably from another region. I don't know what region it is, but it sure isn't Region 1.

I just bought this two days ago from Wal-Mart. It has a one page insert.

The great thing about this movie is you can actually see the exact moment Stallone's career started down the toilet.

This thread is about the DVD, not about his career.

Rock 2 is the only one that remains non-anamorphic...

but it's my fave of the Rocky films (best story)

Don't all four sequels have the same story?

I noticed that DDD has it listed as anamorphic as well. Unfortunately they're wrong. I actually ordered mine from DDD (knowing it wasn't really anamorphic), and never even noticed it listed an 8 page booklet. Of course that's wrong too.

Anyway, I guess my point is: Don't order it from Deep Discount DVD based on their description. It's the same version you get everywhere else. Do buy it there because it's cheaper than anywhere else. Just make sure you use the dvdtalk link.

I soooo wish this was anamorphic. I refuse to buy the DVD because of this, even though I love the movie.
