I think for me, with over 2,800 DVDs in my collection, etc. in it, it would take me forever to get that collection moved over to another service, where I'm not clear all of my data could be moved over anyway. My time alone would be probably worth a few years of subscription fees. I don't know how many other ones also have data already in the system for DVDs that are out there that speeds up entry. It's not quite as good a DB as dvdpricesearch.com, but it's not too far off that.
I just got a note back from the siteop apologizing for the down time. He noted that there was no data lost at all, just some configuration problems he had.
One thing I do wish he'd fix is to have the DHTML work for browsers other than IE. It's a bit annoying on my Mac to not be able to navigate through those menus on Mozilla.
