Well for fans of T2, it's a must buy, IMO. Great visual upgrade, great commentary, and that HD edition on disc two. Besides, it includes the regular and super duper special whatever edition

The UE had some good features on it, but if you're like me, you watch em once or twice and they become filler. Sold my used UE on eBay (the one disc edition I had went for more than others) and spent that money on the EE.

But if you don't like the movie, that's a whole other story.

I didn't get the Extreme Edition either. I own the Ultimate Edition, and I have something of a personal policy against rebuying or getting a second copy of a movie unless there is a significant, purchase-worthy addition to the existing release(s), for example Traffic: Criterion Collection and Almost Famous: Untitled: The Bootleg Cut. I don't really think the Extreme Edition adds anything worth getting. I'm actually very happy with the quality of the Ultimate Edition.

I passed. I already have the T2 Ultimate edition in the tin case.

I don't upgrade unless the original release lacked an Anamorphic transfer and/or a 5.1 track.

As proud owner of the T2:UE in the cardboard case (bought cheaply at walmalt) I passed on this rererelease.

I passed on it, also. No reason to upgrade from the UE, imo.

I didn't buy it, and I don't have the UE either.

I have very few action movies.

Ditto. No way I could justify a re-purchase of this one.

Passed on this one since I have the UE. I am saving my money for 6/9/03 releases instead.

I have no interest in T2 or T3 in any form. Even the first HD-DVD is not interesting to me.

I did not buy the EE T2...

I will instead wait for the XXXtreme Tricked-out Edition of T2 next year.

This is the first movie that I have double-dipped. Hopefully the last too.

Already have the UE with the metal slipcase so I passed on this re-release. Besides, the UE is still has the edge with a DTS track.

I've got the UE and I'd rather spend my money on movies I don't already own.

I only bought the UE because at the time, it was such a WOW release. No way I was buying this one, I think the movie is very inferior compaired to the first one.

Since I have the UE I passed on it too. The picture quality of the UE looks just fine on my 65" TV, and it's not like I watch the movie on a daily basis anyway.

Even though I'd like to hear the commentary, I couldn't justify buying this again. The comparison pictures were completely unconvincing as well.

I have the original 1-disc release. I haven't watched it since I got my widescreen TV and 5.1 setup. If I don't like the picture/sound the next time I watch it, I might double-dip, but otherwise I can settle for the NSSE (not so special edition). I liked T2, but loved the first movie.

Just have the UE, not worth purchasing Extreme.
