I bought the Region 2 Treehouse of Horror DVD that came out last year; it has TOH V, VI, VII and XII, and the Kang & Kodos featurette that will apparently be on the Region 1 release. I paid a lot more than 7 bucks for it though.
Personally, I wish they'd release a set with all of the Treehouse of Horror episodes; I'd definitely buy it. It'd be cool to have them all together in one set.

Simpsons Treehouse of Horror
STREET DATE: DVD: 9/2/2003
DVD SRP (US): $14.98
Bonus: Video montage of Kang and Kodo's finest moments
There wasn't any more info beyond that, but there was cover-art which you can view at the link above. This release should be an exact duplicate of the UK DVD and contain Treehouse of Horror V, VI, VII, and XII. Fox is NOT abandoning their HIGHLY lucrative Season sets ...this is just a way to capitalize on the Halloween holiday.
