What TV Game Shows would you like on DVD?

If they ever release TV Game Shows in season sets DVDs which particular Game Show would you definitely buy?

Here are some of the most popular ones:

Price is Right
(Infinite Season Sets.. hehe)

Wheel of Fortune
(watch Vanna White as she ages from season to season.. hehe)

Jeopardy
(see how the studio changes almost every season while as you watch every show try to beat the contestants with an answer in the form of a question)

Match Game
(An oldy but a goody)

Family Feud
(with Richard Dawson hosting)

I don't know how much replay these would have, so I would vote for none. Plus, wouldn't it be tough to secure rights if you had to have consent of every past contestant, or do they waive their rights to go on the show?

I love Match Game and Family Feud - can't get enough of them on Game Show Network. However, I would never buy them on DVD. I seriously doubt I could intentionally watch the same episodes repeatedly.

I must agree with all of you on this one. Part of the game show lure for me is competing against my wife to see who gets the answers right first. Watching the same episodes over and over would not work for me. If I need to see a game show I flip on the Game Show Network.

There are some couple reasons I can think of ppl may buy their favorite Game Shows on DVD:

1. For nostalgia and as a collectible item to have around and view an episode now and then.
2. If you were a contestant or knew a friend or a current/past family member was on a particular show.. wouldn't you get it to show off to your friends and families in get togethers?

I can't imagine buying any of these... would they even still have these archived somewhere ?

No wait I take it back... if Groucho's "You bet your life" (that was the name right?) were to come out I may consider buying that one

Gong Show is the only one that would work, IMHO. They could package it in a multitude of ways from straight cut, full episodes to a series of highlight discs and outtakes. Either way would be great. I was actually surprised theere wasn't an offering around the time Confessions OF A Dangerous Mind came out.

I'm sure people would buy for both of those reasons. There is a small community of people who do trade tapes of games shows, but that market would be very small, I believe. And those who would fit into the second category would be a minuscule group.

Sure, you could sell just about anything to somebody. But sometimes the market just isn't big enough to warrant it.

it'd really have to be a collection of interesting games. a season wouldn't do.

for example, the 100,000$ press your luck guy. or perhaps the jeapoardy vs. the tribbles episode.

A season set for a daily game show would be a monster.

Don't think it'll ever happen. Nor would I want it too.

I really can't imagine ANYTHING that would have less replay value than old game shows ... except may a Weather Channel compendium of Our Favorite Predictions.

I'd like for someone to compile a multi-disc set of uncensored game show bloopers. The recent T.V. show with game show bloopers was hilarious, and I'd like to see more.

I particularly remember that -- many years ago -- there was a Price Is Right blooper show and I haven't seen it since. You might remember one of the scenes: it featured a bosomy lady in a tube top running down to contestant's row, who pops out of the top! The funniest part was Bob Barker's reaction!!

I am glad to see that I am not the only PYL fan "in the house." I miss the USA Network's syndication of that show. Good times!

Probably none, but definitely not season sets. It might be kind of amusing to have something like Jeopardy through the years, with a dozen shows from different years the shows been on, so you could laugh at the clothes and stuff.

Survivor isn't on DVD in complete season form. It is only a one DVD recap.

I could go for some "best of" sets though. Newlywed, Dating, Gong, Feud, Match Game could all be entertaining.

I love the game show network.
