I remember hearing that there was a packed Laserdisc version of this movie. Has universal said anything new about releasing a special edition of the movie, besides no? BTW Anyone who hasn't seen this movie should check it out.

No word yet - gol darn! The laser disc box set is hard to find and quite expensive when it can be found. So I'm in favor of an SE version also.

search is your friend... just might want to look for Frighteners... not frightners.... email universal and tell them you want a special edition... make the email polite and tell them you'd like to see the 4 hour making of that was available on the laser disc... I email them all the time, hopefully one day, they'll announce something...
