Finally, I have seen this movie so many times on Comedy Central, this DVD is going to be like a screening in the directors living room. If it's 16x9 that is, didn't see any specs that is.

**** YEA!!!!!!! I'm so glad this is finally coming to DVD. This film is such a laugh. I always seem to stop and watch 15-20 minutes when it's on CC.

This has been on my top five list of movies I wanted on DVD but NEVER thought they would come out! Please, please, PLEASE tell me it will be widescreen?!

As a joke I was going to post "No commentary from Piven = NO SALE!" Then I read the good news from Mike. This is a guilty pleasure movie that I might have to pick up on the cheap.

Unless they used some dirty pictures of George Lucas to get him to release the original Star Wars trilogy on DVD this year, I would seriously consider voting Fox for such an award. I love this movie that much.

I was one of about 6 people that saw this in the theater. A great day in DVD history.

I've been wanting this since I got a DVD player back in 1997. ABOUT DAMN TIME!!!!!!!

Ya know.. I really do like this movie.. but I'm still bothered that the ending seems like a big budget commercial for the P. Funk. Minor gripe.

Agreed that is the worst part of this movie.

Man, I still remember the sad date I was on when I took her to see this movie. We were the only one's in the theater and I was the only one laughing. Guess who didn't get laid that night?

Finally.. I have been waiting for this movie for the longest time.

Its one of my guilty pleasures. A totally mindless movie that makes me laugh so much. :)

Wow! I've never seen the movie before, but based on what everybody's saying about it, I'll have to pick it up blind. I know of the movie, just never bothered to watch it. I'll be checking it out now.
