Looks like it is going to be a bare-bones release but who cares it's finally here . . . well it will be in 3 months.

Also worth mentioning is The original Haunting on 8-5

Dude, my day was just made. Been waiting for this lil' gem.

Droz: What some advice?
Tom: Well, yeah.
Droz: Well, here's all you need to know: Classes, nothing before eleven. Beer, it's your best friend, you drink a lot. Women? You're a freshman, so it's pretty much out of the question. Will you have a car?
Tom: Uhh...no.
Droz: Someone on your floor will. Find them and make friends with them on the first day.

Anyone who has gone to big party college (I went to East Carolina Univ) knows this is SOOOO true and that is what made it so great.

"Don't be that guy!"

Finally, I have seen this movie so many times on Comedy Central, this DVD is going to be like a screening in the directors living room. If it's 16x9 that is, didn't see any specs that is.

"Caine and Hackman in the same movie together! This is my thesis, man! This is my closing argument! I can stop watching TV!!!"

This is good news indeed.

**** YEA!!!!!!! I'm so glad this is finally coming to DVD. This film is such a laugh. I always seem to stop and watch 15-20 minutes when it's on CC.

I can't believe this. I was just browsing the Fox info site last night and missed this. And it's not bare-bones.

Side 1: Widescreen feature, commentary by Hart Bochner, commentary by Jeremy Piven, featurette (from the original EPK) music video: Mudhoney "Pump It Up", trailer,
Side 2: Pan & Scan feature, commentary by Hart Bochner, commentary by Jeremy Piven, featurette (from the original EPK), music video: Mudhoney "Pump It Up",

You can all thank me now.

1. Sorry, no link. That Fox site is for press and retailers only. But, I cut and pasted that info directly from the site.

2. I work here. Why would I lie?

Damn! All that for 10 bucks? Go ahead and give Fox the "DVD Studio of the Year" award.

As a joke I was going to post "No commentary from Piven = NO SALE!" Then I read the good news from Mike. This is a guilty pleasure movie that I might have to pick up on the cheap.

Unless they used some dirty pictures of George Lucas to get him to release the original Star Wars trilogy on DVD this year, I would seriously consider voting Fox for such an award. I love this movie that much.
