I can't believe no one mentioned The Princess Bride. ?!?!

I just saw Adventures on Robin Hood on VHS. What a great flick...I hope it comes out on DVD soon. I'm really amazed that that movie was released in the 30s.

They just don't make movies like that anymore.

I'll add the TV miniseries The Mists of Avalon to many other good ones in this thread.

(And of those previously mentioned, The Lion in Winter is historical and not in any way a fantasy.)
