Thy can't I find any threads about The Others?

Please Help!

I've been around here for a while and I have a hard time believing that there are no threads about The Others. This was a great movie.

I wanted to research something - but the search function finds noththing in movie talk, DVD talk, or an entire site search.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

Maybe if you gave us an idea of what you were researching we would be a lot more help. I too could find no worthy threads for the film.

probably nothing......the search function on this site leaves a lot to be desired and often does not turn up threads that do in fact exist.

try searching by actor/actress and director name too......sometimes that works

my best advice to you is to just ask the question on the thread and all the knowledgeable DVDTalkers will be more than happy to help you out.

The search function on this forum is seriously broken. When I first saw "The Others" I had the same problem you did. Luckily, at that point the film was relatively new, so I found threads on it by paging through the forums. But, like myrdh says...just post your question here.

Thanks for the links:

I usuly try to research before I ask questions.

OK here is my question:

Spoiler:

I just saw the movie and was wondering what the time frame was between when she killed herself and kids to then the servents came into the house.

In "dead world" it was 1 week... but I find it hard to believe that they would clean out the house and a new family to move in in 1 week.

Thanks for the tip on searching for actors if you can't find the movie title.
