Does anyone have any information on the status of Lindsay Anderson's If.... or O' Lucky Man???
I vaguely remember there was a thread some time ago in the studio feedback forum where, and I believe it was Warner Bros., had asked "which of the following would you most like to see released on DVD," and one of the options was If.... I could also swear that a studio rep had mentioned it as a future possibility during a studio chat either here or elsewhere....does anyone have any other info????

I would love to have this film on DVD as well, but given Paramount's slow-going through their vaults, particularly with the films they did not finance or originate I don't expect it anytime soon.
I even think it deserves a Special Edition treatment but would be shocked if it ever got anything beyond a possible trailer on the disc.

Well I think I have some news
A DVD release with Malcolm's and David Sherwin's separate commentaries is coming in 2003!
DVD release date is 10/14/03!! (But is subject to change)

I cannot believe this!!! One of my favorite movies of all time. I've been waiting years for this.
That McDowell site also mentions the film will be released on "DVD by a new British company (not Paramount)"
Is this film now caught up in some lousy legal mess?
