Seinfeld on DVD

DVD Talk Gold Edition
When I saw this thread yesterday, I didn't read it because I thought it was another one of those "When's Seinfeld coming to DVD?" threads. Then I saw the story at Davis DVD this morning.
This is very good news. Hopefully these won't be on a release schedule like The Simpsons. Commentaries will be nice, but they're not necessary on every episode.

I read somewhere that TBS, or TNT (cant remember which) had paid some insane amount of money for Seinfeld until 2006 or whatever-(it was for a long time) so a DVD release would be out of the question since they paid so much for the rights and a DVD release would eat into their profits.

NEED DVD-ROM FEATURE!
Please god, no SHRINKAGE!!! Hopefully, they'll include seasons 1 and 2 together.
But what I NEED is a text based script viewer that is searchable by keyword. And a cumulate index with each seasons set.
Wouldn't you love to find where and when certain words/phrases first appeared? Am I asking too much? I'm a VERY BAD MAN!

Will there be a coffee table version?
Of course, since there is a trickle of information of an actual release, this may cause a new rush of newbies posting a question for a definite date. Mods, you may want to make this one a sticky so it's always posted where newbies can see it.

DavisDVD saying maybe late this year.
I find that ridiculously optimistic. Extras are looking nice, and the commentaries aren't necessary for each episode (although it appears most of the cast certainly has the time).

What a great month this has been for DVD news! Disney speeds up the Platinum Editions, Indiana Jones is announced, Blockbuster is going widescreen, and now this. I expect the apocalypse any day now.
Oh, and another thing...you know what?
