Post your HT Setup AND your insane way of hooking it up.
Inspired by this Penny Arcade comic, post your HT setup and how only you can actually use it.

Sony 27" TV
Sony Reciever, 50 CD Carousel
Dish Direct PVR, Sony Casette, DVD, VCR
GameCube, Xbox, Dreamcast
Infinity SL-20 speakers
And behind the Xbox is hooked up to a D-Link AirPlus DWL-810+ Ethernet-to-Wireles Bridge so I can get my Xbox Live groove on without draping cables down the hall.

Back of TV:

Back of everything else:

Remotes (5 left == Commander):

I actually have a "Y" splitter on Video-2 (RCA) of the TV AND piggy-back RCA cables on Video-1's Audio input so I could hook two devices' audio there as well. I was doing my damnedest to NOT have to buy a component switcher.

Try this on for size...
TV: a 27" console that is about 15 years old, the sides of the picture sometimes go convex )_( instead of (_)
The DVD player is hooked through my VCR, since the TV doesn't have A/V inputs.
I have the DVD player hooked to two (2!) different 8-track players, using the two sets of audio jacks on the DVD player. I *THINK* I am actually getting a bit of surround sound, but it is hard to tell.
The cable goes through VCR 1, to VCR 2, to the TV.
I have a LD player on top of the TV, but I have to disconnect the DVD to use it.
I have an auto-switching TV/Game box hooked up to the TV, and I have multiple systems that all need connected and disconnected to use (including an Atari 2600 that has to use its own TV/Game switch.

This is my setup, and yes I am the only one who can figure out how to turn it on

I have 6 things hooked up via component cables, which means I have to switch them through my reciever (XBOX and PS2) AND a component A/V switcher (2 DVD players and Gamecube) and I just run my HD cable box directly into the TV. Thank god I have 3 component inputs on my tv. Then I have 5 things that have optical connectors which means I need a switcher for them also.
Thankfully remote macros make it easier to switch between sources but there are still buttons to push in the A/V rack itself so it is pretty difficult for someone else to figure out.
But I don't really want anyone else screwing with my stuff when I'm not around anyway
